Community Action of Ventura County se incorporó en 1965 y se encargó de erradicar la pobreza en el condado de Ventura. A través de la defensa de todas las comunidades, asociaciones con agencias de servicios sociales y ofreciendo servicios directos, CAVC ha prestado servicios a todos los hogares de todas las comunidades y todas las ciudades del condado de Ventura durante casi 60 años.
