Every Thursday, Community Action of Ventura County assists residents with fresh produce, canned goods and other staples.

Food distribution takes place at the back of the CAVC building, 621 Richmond Ave. in Oxnard, between 1:30 and 3 p.m. or until the food runs out. There is no parking in the food distribution area.

First-time participants should bring valid identification and verification of income.

DOCUMENT CHECKLIST:

The following are valid forms of identification and verification:

·         Driver's License or State I.D. for all adults

·         Valid photo ID card

·         Social Security award letter

·         Disability  check stub or award letter

·         Unemployment check stub or award letter

·         Paycheck stub

·         CBank Statement
